A self-styled “intimate yuletide Eigg-nog of Hebridean Casio folk, with stripped back, twisted and blissed out regurgitations of ol’ Pictish Trail favourites”

A svelt, intelligent, adorable balladeer, trapped inside the body of an oversized, oft-bearded folk ogre … Johnny Lynch previously ran the much loved Fence Collective and now runs his own Lost Map Records, up on the isle of Eigg. Pictish Trail’s eloquent songs are as wildly varied as his selection of brightly coloured bobble hats and have seen him get mentioned in the same breath as his heroes Beck, The Beta Band and Hot Chip.
