Jennifer Crook comes to HTH in support of her new album ‘Carnforth Station’ which is her third solo release and features her live trio: cellist Beth Porter (Eliza Carthy/Newton Faulkner) and multi-instrumentalist Mike Cosgrave (Jackie Oates/Jackie Leven). Recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios by Stephen W Tayler (Kate Bush, Suzanne Vega, Stevie Nicks) the album includes some concert favourites as well as brand new material inspired by their travels, and guest appearances from premier lap steel player Kevin Brown and singer/double bassist Miranda Sykes (Show of Hands).
