Host and MC, JIMMY McGHIE, introduces double headliners DAN NIGHTINGALE and LARRY DEAN at our Comedy Club this September – a night of hilarity not to be missed.

DAN NIGHTINGALE is widely regarded as one of the best performers working on the comedy circuit today. Mixing fiendishly accurate observation with energetic characterisations and killer punch lines, his comedy is original, playful, intelligent, poignant and exciting; sometimes ridiculous… but always hilarious. As well as being a top-class circuit headliner and in-demand MC, he has also performed regular TV warm up for the likes of Jonathan Ross, John Bishop and Celebrity Juice.

LARRY DEAN is an award-winning comedian and writer. Since being crowned Scottish Comedian Of The Year at just 23, Larry’s star has continued to rise and rise, with his debut Edinburgh Fringe show receiving widespread critical and audience acclaim as well as a Fosters Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer. 2016 has seen Larry star on Live From The BBC on BBC2, having already appeared twice on BBC Presents: Best Of The Edinburgh Festival. He’s also supported Stephen K Amos and Eddie Izzard on tour.

**STOP PRESS** We are delighted to announce that Larry won the “Amused Moose Comedy Award” at the recent 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe – “The Amused Moose Comedy Award searches for the best comedy shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from talent on the cusp of fame.”

JIMMY McGHIE is a highly regarded stand-up and comic performer. He performs on the UK and international comedy circuits to great acclaim and was nominated for Chortle Best Compere in 2011. He can be seen on series 3 of BBC Three’s Live at the Electric and has appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News, as well as co-presenting the Dave Gorman radio show on Absolute Radio. He has also supported Chris Addison and Simon Bird on tour and is a highly sought after TV warm-up.
