Resident host MARK OLVER introduces double headliners PAUL McCAFFREY and IAN MOORE

IAN MOORE is a regular on BBC 5Live’s Fighting Talk and BT Sport’s popular ‘The Football’s On…’, Ian is a much sought after comedian, compere and corporate awards host who has achieved great success on the London and National circuits and is a regular headliner and compere at London’s famous Comedy Store. He is also the author of the hugely successful books, ‘A la Mod: My So-Called Tranquil Family Life in Rural France’ and ‘C’est Modnifique!: Adventures of an English Grump in Rural France. Ian’s laconic observations on life, from the problems of using the wrong vocabulary in a German Pizza Hut to an almost pathological hatred of most forms of physical exertion, have proved hugely successful with live audiences all over the world from Australia to China, and the Phillipines to the Middle East. He hasn’t performed in South America, but feels no reason why they wouldn’t love him there too. Following a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival where he appeared with Catherine Tate, Ian was one of only seven British comics selected to appear at the pinnacle of all comedy festivals – Montreal’s Just for Laughs. Alongside the likes of Jimmy Carr, Ian performed in the sellout Britcom showcase proving to be such a success he subsequently went on to headline the Worldcom show at the festival’s finale.

PAUL McCAFFREY is a stand-up comedian and comic actor who can be watched on the BBC3 prank show Impractical Jokers. As a stand-up, Paul quickly established himself on the circuit with his incredibly likeable, ‘everyman’ persona, winning both The London Paper and the Latitude Festival new act competitions. Paul took his second solo stand-up show, Pills‘n’Thrills and Bellylaughs, to the Edinburgh Festival to great critical acclaim. Paul has filmed the stand-up spot on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3) and is a regular guest on Extra Time (talkSPORT). He has also done studio warm-up for The Morgana Show (Channel 4) and That Sunday Night Show (ITV1) and can currently be seen at some of the best comedy clubs in the country.

MARK OLVER, widely regarded as the country’s finest compere, is our resident MC for 2016. His TV warm-up credits include The Last Leg, Have I Got News For You, Jonathan Ross, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Stand Up for the Week, The Vicar of Dibley and Deal or No Deal.
